Andre-Pierre Gignac Biography

André-Pierre Christian Gignac (French pronunciation:  [ɑ̃dʁe pjɛʁ ʒiɲak]; born 5 December 1985) is a French professional footballer who plays for Liga MX club Tigres UANL and the France national team. He primarily plays as a striker whose influence can extend out to the wings. Gignac is described as a "powerful and dangerous" striker who is known for his "aerial presence". He is known personally by teammates and friends as simply Dédé.
