Mamunul Islam Biography

Mamunul Islam Mamun (born 12 December 1988) is a Bangladeshi international footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Abahani Limited (Chittagong) and the Bangladesh national football team. He has won four league titles with two different clubs. Mamunul started his career at Abahani Limited (Dhaka) as a central midfielder. He played two seasons for Dhaka Abahani, 2008-09 and 2009-10. Both seasons Dhaka Abhani became the league champion. He joined Atletico de Kolkata on loan from Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club to play the inaugural season of the Indian Super League. After returning to Sheikh Jamal DC, later he joined his hometown club Chittagong Abahani for a record fee.
