I have a room whereinto no one enters Save I myself alone: There sits a blessed memory on a throne, There my life centres.
I was 28 when I played the role of a 65 year old man in my first film.
I wrote a book on life coaching, because my life became my own reference point how to live.
I have never judged life. If I had, I would have been a complete mess.
I enjoy being recognized. I'll be very sad if people stop recognizing me. I'll be very sad if I'm not interviewed, because that's a very amazing process.
I was born in a poor family, a lower middle class family. My father was a clerk in the forest department. I was very bad at studies. I was not very good at sports, also.
I'm very particular about everything. That goes along with the artwork, and how it's laid out, and every lyric. So it's pretty much all in my hands, which is crazy to be touring and doing that at the same time.
Did ever a man try heroism, magnanimity, truth, sincerity, and find that there was no advantage in them - that it was a vain endeavor?
I have been using the computer as a work aid since the mid-90's. It is extraordinarily well suited to how I think and work and has transformed my practice. Nearly everything I have done in the past 15 years would have been impossible without it. I use the computer for drawing, composing and colour planning everything, from postage stamps to paintings to architectural-scale installations.
It is the woman who controls the whole house. . . it's her job, that's what she's supposed to do. . . We have to change this idea that women are not only supposed to work in the house. . . but she also has the ability to go outside and do business, to be a doctor, to be a teacher, to be an engineer, she should be allowed to have any job she likes. She should be treated equally, as men are.
