I write very tightly, and my big fear is boring people. I want them to read quickly, stopped in their tracks. I resist indulging myself.
Now the church is not wood and stone, but the company of people who believe in Christ.
Show me where a man spends his time & money, and I'll show you his god.
It's not what I don't know that bothers me - it's what I do know and don't do!

If you do not find yourself among the needy and the poor, where the Gospel shows us Christ, then you may know that your faith is not right, and that you have not yet tasted of Christ's benevolence and work for you.
