It's a good feeling to be at a place where you know who you are as an artist. I didn't know back then, I just wanted to give my family a better life and myself. There's nothing like getting feedback that's positive and supportive. That's what I'm all about. I'm really just genuinely doing good music. I'm not looking to be on the cover of magazines and I'm not in it for the fame. I'm not in it for selling or the biggest Pop song in the world. I have to go for critically acclaimed. I mean if it happens, it happens but I'm doing it for me.
For people to even be interested and to reach out and say "I can't wait for you to come out with something", it's just so inspiring and motivating. It just keeps me going and it reminds me of why I love to make music because there's nothing greater than to use the gifts you have and share it with people who have that same affinity for the art that you give.
I don't think that anyone should ever give up on whatever it is that they dream of. Obstacles will come their way, but everything is a learning experience and it all works out for the good anyway.
I think you can always win if you're true to yourself.
When you become thoughtless, then you can see, feel Reality.
We should have communicated to Iran that we are prepared, that we are considering military options. They're not just on the table, they are in our hands.
If a life can have a 'theme-song' - and I believe every worthwhile one has - mine is [best] expressed in one word: Individualism.
Music may be called the sister of painting, for she is dependent upon hearing, the sense which comes second and her harmony is composed of the union of proportional parts sounded simultaneously, rising and falling in one or more harmonic rhythms.
