I think Arminianism is death to Christianity!
My favorite songs change every year.
In my mind I am eloquent; I can climb intricate scaffolds of words to reach the highest cathedral ceilings and paint my thoughts. But when I open my mouth, everything collapses.
Music? Music is life! It’s physical emotion - you can touch it! It’s neon ecto-energy sucked out of spirits and switched into sound waves for your ears to swallow. Are you telling me, what, that it’s boring? You don’t have time for it?
I want to change my punctuation. I long for exclamation marks, but I'm drowning in ellipses.
I wish people were willing to dig a little deeper than the surface elements of a premise before tossing one story in with another.
I would like my life to be a movie so I could cut to a montage.
The essence of songs is neither vocal nor cerebral but organic. We follow songs in order to be enclosed. We find ourselves inside a message. The unsung, impersonal world remains outside, on the other surface of a placenta. All songs, even when their content or rendering is strongly masculine, operate maternally.
So I think if you're happy with your brain, you're powerful.

there is a danger, when thinking of the earliest civilized people, of putting too much emphasis on technology. One tends to assume that if you don't have, at least, a lavatory and perhaps something that will take you a lot faster than your own feet, or a certain number of gadgets in the house, then you must be in some way, a bit backward and defective. . . the important thing to remember is that technology is not necessarily the same thing as civilization.
