FBI wants to know everything about you, and you're not supposed to know anything about them.
The FBI doesn't sit around all day and read tweets. The FBI's going to do their job. Robert Mueller's going to do his job.
Before the election, I reported on a story about a counterintelligence officer from another service sending reports to the FBI saying that his sources in Russia were saying that Moscow tried for years to cultivate and co-opt Donald Trump. I'm not saying that happened. I'm saying I hope the FBI took a strong look, because it is really hard to believe that a president-elect would be so callous in how he approaches this issue and so dismissive of the seriousness of it.
I didn't know the organization, but the one thing you can say about the FBI, it's tremendously professional.

We continue to get stories that Donald Trump colluded with the Russians, even though there's no evidence. We continue to get stories that Donald Trump is saying the most insulting, stupid things to people, that he's bragging to enemies about his nut job FBI director that he fired. None of it is substantiated. But there are no anonymous leaks on this trip to the Middle East. So far. We don't have a single story that tells us that Trump told the king of Saudi Arabia, "Take the veil off, man. Get into the twenty-first century and look like a real man. " No leaks like this.

My family are police officers, detectives. My brother Mitch is FBI. Mitch is like that - a stern enforcer.
I got as much information as I could, so I wouldn't look stupid, but this is a post 911 world and there's only so much you can do with the FBI in terms of research.
The FBI has always supported big business and big government.
Good FBI officers are not noticeable. You would never look at them.
Also, with information having just come out at the time about J. Edgar Hoover's electronic surveillance of Dr. King, it gave greater weight to the statements of those persons who were alleging involvement of the FBI.
During my work there I came across some very significant issues that I started reporting in December of 2001 to the mid-level management within the FBI.
The FBI has a very clear policy. They don't expose victims.
The most important thing to me is that the president Donald Trump fired the FBI director James Comey all because of the Russia investigation. That first justification given, again, the White House misleading the country about a major action the administration was taking, but the fact that they had a private conversation in which the president, by his own admission, was discussing the future of Director Comey in that job, and the president brings up whether he is under investigation, highly unethical, at a minimum, unethical.
We have no basis to conclude she [Hillary Clinton] lied to the FBI.
