When did having a life become an event you had to schedule?
It's strange, people have asked me what my schedule is and what is my process like, and I can't even answer it.
I fired the nurse the next day because she didn't check out the NFL schedule in advance - just kidding,. . . I plan to be in Denver. I haven't missed a lot of games over the years. But there's a bunch I wish I had.
When I do Pilates, or when I do work out, I feel better all day. Yet I still struggle to keep it on my schedule.
Love sets fire to your schedule, And then calls an end to time.
I create my own schedule, so you start out each day and you say, "Okay, from 10 to 11 I'm going to write," and on the dot at 10, I went downstairs, got dressed like I was going to work, and at 11 I stopped. I don't know why, what kind of wizardry about that worked, but having the structure for a month, I was dishing out songs.
Before I read the script [The Following], I saw the schedule, and imagine how confusing that was. I thought it was intriguing. I'm an actress. Even if it's, by proxy, all about me, I'm all for it. It was all about me, but I didn't have to show up, so it was great.
I always found the film world unpleasant. It's all about the schedule, and never really flew for me.
Innovation is hard to schedule.
We've been running a little behind schedule. But only by about 15 years or so.
You cannot schedule death.
It's been very much in the blood since I started imagining films or shooting with 8mm when I was a kid. I made some films and thought about films, but then I went into writing. Becket is something that's definitely on the cards. We have to see where that fits in the schedule, because it's a big picture and I have a lot of writing obligations at the moment. I'm wary of anything with a budget over a certain amount.
I'm feeling better than anybody expected me to so I'm still maintaining a pretty normal schedule, I'd say.
I couldn't run a tight schedule, and if you're any good at teaching, you get sucked dry because you like your students and you're trying to help them, but you don't have any time left to write yourself.
I've definitely grown apart from a lot of my friends. Some of them don't understand the schedule, and it's not that I don't want to talk to them, it's that sometimes I am really busy and can't get back to them.
Because I'm shooting 'The New Normal' and 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' at the same time, so my schedule is double. I leave one show and go and shoot the other. The cameras are with me for, like, every day of my life. So I'm extremely tired.
What fits your busy schedule better, exercising one hour a day or being dead 24 hours a day?
With my busy schedule, my friends consist of my immediate family and the people I work with!
When I do a film, the days before or the night before, I throw up. Sometimes it's just in my mouth and I swallow it back, but sometimes it's real. Whatever it is, it's hard. I don't do the first five or ten minutes of my character's appearance in a movie until the middle of the shooting schedule because I don't want him to be defined by my nervousness. So, we do the middle of the picture first.
Don't prioritize your schedule, schedule those priorities.
