First keep peace with yourself, then you can also bring peace to others.

A wise and good man will turn examples of all sorts to his own advantage. The good he will make his patterns, and strive to equal or excel them. The bad he will by all means avoid.
He has great tranquillity of heart who cares neither for the praises nor the fault-finding of men. He will easily be content and pacified, whose conscience is pure. Man sees your actions, but God your motives.
Jesus has many lovers of His kingdom of heaven, but he has few bearers of His Cross. Many desire His consolation, but few desire His tribulation. He finds many comrades in eating and drinking, but He finds few hands who will be with Him in His abstinence and fastingBut those who love Jesus purely for Himself, and not for their own profit or convenience, bless Him as heartily in temptation and tribulation and in all other adversities as they do in time of consolation. And if He never sent them consolation, they would still bless and praise Him.
Handouts are not going to end global poverty, but work - real work - just might.
When it comes to my art work I would say that I am a perfectionist, although my sketchbook, and my process, is a mess.
Only in books could you find pity, comfort, happiness and love.
I like an ending that's both a door and a window.
