I think it's time for the Prime Minister to stop making excuses and to start governing.
I've been a strong supporter of public financing my whole career. I'm the first guy to introduce a public financing bill to the United States Senate in 1973.
A gaffe in Washington is someone telling the truth, and telling the truth has never hurt me.
There is a middle class in America for only one reason: organized labor. If not for organized labor, where would you find a job where you had some sense that you had a shot of leaving behind something better than you inherited?.
In presidential campaign I released a 65-page file from the Syracuse University College of Law that showed poor grades, back in college, also. If I were plagiarizing consistently, my grades would have been better.
My mother believed and my father believed that if I wanted to be president of the United States, I could be, I could be Vice President!
The public has moved beyond politicians. For example, I'm not worried about them repealing protections for the LGBT community, because the public is beyond that. The presidents varied in the degree to which they cited the founders. Some, like JFK, LBJ, [Richard] Nixon, and [Bill] Clinton, cited them somewhat frequently, in the range of 100 to 200 times, though, regrettably, not in a thematic or notably profound or even interesting way. Others, like Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter, cited them rarely.
The papers conducted by Lord Rothermere and Lord Beaverbrook are not newspapers in the ordinary acceptance of the term. They are engines of propaganda for the constantly-changing policies, desires, personal wishes, and personal likes and dislikes of two men? What the proprietorship of those papers is aiming at is power, and power without responsibility the prerogative of the harlot throughout the ages.
Lost motivation means that you broke promises to yourself and haven't corrected them yet. You need to believe in yourself again. This can only happen when you start fulfilling the small promises you make to yourself.
