Books loved anyone who opened them, they gave you security and friendship and didn't ask anything in return; they never went away, never, not even when you treated them badly.
Indeed, I would feel that an appreciation of the arts in a conscious, disciplined way might help one to do science better.
People who to back and chastise themselves, or second guess themselves, for making a wrong decision or a weak decision continues to set themselves up for failure in future decisions simply because they don't trust themselves.
