I actually find extroversion to be a really appealing personality style.
When you go to a football game and someone offers you a beer [. . . ], they're really saying hi, have a glass of extroversion.
To a greater or lesser extent there goes on in every person a struggle between two forces: the longing for privacy and the urge to go places: the introversion, interest directed within oneself toward one's own inner life of vigorous thought and fancy; and extroversion, interest directed outward, toward the external world of people and tangible values.
All personality traits have their good side and their bad side. But for a long time, we've seen introversion only through its negative side and extroversion mostly through its positive side.
My extroversion is a way of managing my introversion.
