I always equate wrestling to having been in the Marine Corps.
Whatcha gunna do when Hulkamanina and my 24 pythons run wild on you?!?!?!!?
Kyokoshin I've done most, but I competed in Sports Karate also, that's my style that I come from, and mixed with the wrestling that's how I got the takedowns.
Sometimes the sight of someone in one faith wrestling with that faith can empower you to wrestle with another faith. For me, it was reading about how the Catholic Church wrestled with itself in the 1960s. Pope John XXIII set Nostra Aetate - the Declaration on the Relation of the Church with Non-Christian Religions - in motion. It changed the relationship between Jews and Catholics. Today, Jews and Catholics meet as friends. If you can do that, after the longest history of hatred the world has known, that empowers you as a Jew or a Muslim to wrestle with your faith.
I believe that professional wrestling is clean and everything else in the world is fixed.
I once asked him what came at the end of the sentence. . . and he said "parole".
The best thing wrestling ever taught me was how to network with people, how to talk to people, how to deal with a lot of different kinds of people in different situations and being a good guy and a bad guy teaches you how to be able to have a thick skin.
As long as any pro wrestling we see on the TV screen doesn't insult my intelligence and can continually use common sense, basic logic and the presentation, I am pretty cool with it.
The Bible is not a book that you can open and say, 'Now, Lord, put some magic into my soul that will open up the meaning of this book. ' There is only one way really to understand the Word, and that is through wrestling with the circumstances and happenings of life.
The Bushwhackers are living proof that the Three Stooges had children
Undertake something that is difficult; it will do you good. Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow.
You've got two options: Tap or SNAP !!!
When you are with young people, it is almost inconceivable that things wouldn't arise that you'd have to respond to, such as someone wrestling on the bus. And how you handle that, how you respond to that, how you deal with that is a lesson to the people you are on the bus with.
To be present - really, truly present - in art and life requires empathizing with uncertainty and wrestling with risk.
When I wrestled, I would set aside the time to wrestle, so that in my mind it didn't interfere with my study time. If I'd say, "I'm going to study this many hours, then I'm going to go work out and wrestle," then when that time comes, you don't feel like you should be doing something else. That helped me psychologically. But otherwise? When I'm wrestling, I'm not studying the universe. And when I'm studying the universe, I'm not wrestling.
Were still gonna do those things not because weve got nothing to lose. . were still gonna do them because. . WERE RICH BIATCH!!
If you're wrestling with some sort of decision, reflect for a moment and ask yourself, Am I being brave, or am I being safe? In the end, it depends on whether we think God can be trusted.

If you would have met me when I first started wrestling - or even five, six, seven, eight years into wrestling - you wouldn't be like "This person is a dynamic personality on the screen. " That would have never happened. That's something that's evolved. You just keep putting yourself out there and you keep working at that sort of thing and you can get better at it.
