Daniel Louis Castellaneta (/ˌkæstələˈnɛtə/; born October 29, 1957) is an American actor, voice actor, comedian and screenwriter best known for his long-running role as Homer Simpson on the Fox Broadcasting Company animated adult television series The Simpsons. He also voices many other characters for the show like Abraham "Grampa" Simpson, Barney Gumble, Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Mel, Groundskeeper Willie, Mayor Quimby and Hans Moleman. Castellaneta also had roles in several other programs, including Sibs and Darkwing Duck for ABC, The Adventures of Dynamo Duck for Fox Kids, Back to the Future: The Animated Series for CBS, Aladdin for Toon Disney and Hey Arnold! for Nicktoons.
